Whiskey gift set
A whiskey set is a great gift for all whiskey lovers, even those who don’t enjoy whiskey that much needs to have at least some good glasses at home for when guests visit if they would want some.
I’m personally a true whiskey lover and I can speak from experience that having a proper glass and stones to cool the whiskey with truly makes the experience a lot better. Some people prefer to have normal ice cubes because “it is supposed to be water in whiskey anyways”…. And I hate to break it to you but you’re wrong. Yes, there should be a few drops of water in whiskey to release the aroma and flavors fully, but only a drop or two in a 40% normal whiskey and maybe a bit more than that in cask strength whiskey but not more than a centiliter and even that’s too much for most whiskeys unless they are from some wicked 68% cask. So ice cubes are too much unless you have a pressed single big one with a whiskey ice machine otherwise you release way too much water in the whiskey and it goes bland in taste and tastes more of pure alcohol. (sorry for the rant)
Well, in conclusion, a whiskey set is great for all whiskey lovers and we would all appreciate some nice granite stones instead of a handful of melting ice cubes! ;)
